Medium Reusable Launch Vehicle (MRLV)
Heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle — 15 t to LEO (reusable) or 2 t to GTO — 75 m tall, 9× AbyoKalam-950 LOX/LNG engines for telecom, defense, and cargo missions.
Description
Abyom SpaceTech's Medium Reusable Launch Vehicle (MRLV) is a heavy-lift system standing 75 m tall (4.8 m diameter) for high-value missions including geostationary telecom satellites, defense payloads, and crew/cargo transport. In reusable configuration it lifts 15 tonnes to LEO, 9 tonnes to SSO, and 2 tonnes to GTO. Nine AbyoKalam-950 LOX/LNG engines provide the necessary thrust. The reusable first stage drives down economics for high-mass missions and supports India's sovereign GTO capability for independent geostationary satellite deployment.
