Hosted documents & removal requests
NewSpace Market aggregates publicly available information about space-industry companies and products. To protect users from broken links and regional access restrictions, we mirror publicly distributed technical documents (datasheets, brochures) on our servers. Every mirrored document keeps a visible link to its original source, and all rights remain with their respective owners.
Why we mirror, and what we promise
Manufacturer websites get redesigned, move to new domains, and retire product pages; links that engineers cited in proposals and papers stop working. Mirroring protects the reader, not us. In return we make three commitments: mirrored files are never modified — they are byte-for-byte copies of the manufacturer’s own public document; every copy carries a visible link to its original source; and the rights holder controls the copy at any time, as described below.
Are you the rights holder?
If you own the rights to a document or any other content listed on this platform, email info@newspacemarket.com with the page URL and tell us which of these you want. We act on verified requests for hosted documents within 72 hours, and on other requests within 5 business days:
- Replace — send us the current version of the datasheet, and the mirror is updated so engineers always see your latest figures (most rights holders choose this);
- Link only — we remove the hosted copy and keep only the link to your website;
- Remove — the document is taken down entirely.
The same applies to a company profile as a whole: a company that does not wish to be listed is removed from the catalogue on request — write from an address on the company domain.
A company can also correct its own listing directly: find your company in the directory and claim its profile from an address on your company domain. Claiming is what grants control of the listing — it is separate from the Verified status, which is a trust signal we award after checking a company and which is not for sale.
Attribution
Product data, specifications and imagery are collected from manufacturers’ public websites and are attributed via the “source” links on each card. The platform is a neutral catalogue: listing does not imply endorsement or commercial affiliation unless a partnership is explicitly stated.
Data we publish ourselves
The figures NewSpace Market computes from its own catalogue — the market benchmarks, the launch price index, the monthly PDF reports and the responses of the public API — are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. You may reuse them, including commercially, with a link back and the citation “NewSpace Market Intelligence”.
This licence covers our own computed figures and charts. It does not extend to manufacturers’ datasheets, logos or product imagery, which remain the property of their owners under the terms above.
The API needs no key and no registration; it is rate-limited per address, and the current limits are stated on the developers page. If you need more than that, write to us and say what you are building.
Corrections
Every figure in the catalogue can be checked against its source, and we would rather hear about a wrong one than have it quoted. Corrections, disputes and data questions: info@newspacemarket.com.
