About Adaptive Launch Solutions

Adaptive Launch Solutions (ALS) designs and manufactures adaptive structures to safely house satellites for launch, adaptive avionics to integrate multiple missions, and provides adaptive launch solutions on multiple NSSL and Small Launcher platforms. The company offers full launch integration services for pico, nano, micro, mini, and small satellites on Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV), Medium Launch Vehicles (MLVs), and Small Launch Vehicles (SLVs). Their product lines include the A-Deck Structure, Adapters, and the Auxiliary Payload Support Unit (APSU), which includes an avionics sequencer. ALS also provides launch integration services, encompassing program management, contract management, and engineering design. Their customers include government agencies such as the US Space Force and NASA, as well as operators and integrators involved in multi-manifest missions. The company began developing auxiliary satellite mission designs, mechanical and avionic systems, engineering analysis, and integration procedures in 2010. The A-Deck Structure, Adapters, and APSU underwent full component qualification testing from 2010 to December 2015, with independent verification and validation by Aerospace Corporation. ALS holds a US Patent (US 8,608,114B2) for its flight system, including the APSU. The ALS-designed avionics sequencer flew in September 2021, supporting the US Space Force with the NASA Landsat 9 mission. ALS has successfully launched four multi-manifest missions as part of the US Space Force’s Launch Manifest System Integration (LMSI) program, with a backlog extending until 2025.
