Aptos is a space-hardened device that integrates compute, persistent communications, and cloud services into any satellite or spacecraft, enabling powerful AI onboard and 99% global connectivity.
Description
Aptos is a single device designed to integrate space-hardened compute, persistent communications, and cloud services directly into satellites and spacecraft. It provides 99% global connectivity for persistent communication through an onboard data link. The system also allows for the extension of cloud services to space, with integration capabilities for platforms like AWS and Azure. Its edge compute resources are space-hardened with proprietary SEU/SEL protection, enabling powerful AI processing onboard the satellite. This design ensures over 5 years of orbital processing with pole-to-pole data connectivity without corruption or failure. Aptos has proven performance in space, with 5.5 years in orbit and TRL9 for LEO applications. Development licenses, engineering models, and flight models are available.
