Description
Gluon is a support vehicle developed by Atomos Space to work in conjunction with the company's Quark orbital transfer vehicles. Gluon can be configured to house additional propellant for Quark's refueling operations, store or host customer payloads, or aggregate multiple small spacecraft together to simplify and share the cost of launch.
On Atomos' Mission-1, Gluon is flown as a companion spacecraft to Quark, carrying additional propellant and hosting an operational customer payload, demonstrating the multi-vehicle mission architecture that underpins Atomos' in-space logistics services.
