Description
Azimut Space's Thermal Strap and Thermal Link products are highly performant, custom-made flexible thermally conductive connections designed for satellite, instrument, and spacecraft thermal control applications. Available in copper, aluminium, or Pyrolytic Graphite Sheet (PGS) materials, they provide efficient, flexible thermal pathways between heat-generating components and radiators or cold plates without introducing mechanical stress.
The straps are engineered to accommodate thermal expansion mismatches between components operating at different temperatures — a critical requirement in space environments where structures experience large temperature swings between eclipse and sunlight. The flexible design prevents the transmission of vibration loads through the thermal path, maintaining mechanical and structural isolation between spacecraft elements while preserving thermal conductance.
