Founded in 2015, Commsat (Beijing Commsat Technology Co., Ltd.) is a leading Chinese private satellite technology company providing enterprises and governments with low Earth orbit (LEO) commercial satellite products and services. The company offers a Satellite-as-a-Service business model encompassing LEO satellite manufacturing and in-orbit delivery, LEO constellation design and construction, satellite terminal applications, industry solutions, and space science education systems.

As an active participant in China's satellite internet infrastructure buildout, Commsat has been operating eight LEO satellites as a private-sector pioneer, and is developing a new fleet of models for higher-speed telecommunications, greater navigation precision, and improved Earth observation quality. The company is building China's first private satellite manufacturing facility with a capacity of 100 LEO satellites per year.
