Element U.S. Space & Defense (Element Defense) is a trusted testing partner to NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, government agencies, and leading industry players across the space and defense sectors. The company traces its heritage to Associated Engineering Test Laboratories, founded in 1961, which later became National Technical Systems (NTS) and NTS Technical Systems before being acquired by Element Materials Technology and rebranded as Element U.S. Space & Defense.

With more than 60 years of experience, Element Defense provides advanced test services including environmental simulations, EMI/EMC testing, dynamics and hydraulics testing, and centrifuge testing, supporting programs such as the Mars rover and the Space Launch System (SLS).
