EOS (Electro Optic Systems)

EOS (Electro Optic Systems) is an Australian defense and space company headquartered in Queanbeyan, New South Wales. The company develops world-leading electro-optic and laser technologies for space surveillance, national security, and defense applications.

For space applications, EOS operates the Space Environment Research Centre (SERC) — Australia's premier space surveillance and tracking facility — and develops space domain awareness (SDA) capabilities including laser ranging, tracking, and characterization of resident space objects. The company produces ground-based optical and laser systems for tracking satellites and debris, and is a leading contributor to Australia's space surveillance network.

EOS also develops high-energy laser (HEL) weapon systems for defense forces, targeting aerial threats. Their defense products have been selected by Australian, US, and other allied defense forces. On the space side, EOS partners with the Australian Space Agency, US Space Command, and international SSA networks to provide critical tracking data for orbital safety and space traffic management.
