Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC) is a Calgary, Alberta-based intellectual property, manufacturing, and logistics firm founded in 2015. Originally focused on renewable energy generation and storage technologies (electrochemical, electromechanical, and concentrated photovoltaic systems), the company has since diversified into aerospace and defense, quantum computing, blockchain and cybersecurity, and medical technology.
GEC's aerospace and defense branch develops novel technologies for satellites, commercial space, and C4ISR-related applications. Through its subsidiary Geometric Space Corporation, GEC gained wide recognition for DOGE-1, described as the world's first crypto-funded space mission: a lunar-orbit CubeSat payload sponsored with Dogecoin and launched by SpaceX on a Falcon 9 rideshare mission in 2022 as part of the Intuitive Machines IM-1 lunar lander campaign.
