About GOSPACE
GOSPACE LABS s.r.o. is a Slovak IoT and telecommunications technology company headquartered in Bratislava, with a subsidiary in Zilina and a US office. The team's roots trace back to the Slovak Organization for Space Activities, where its founding members designed, built, and operated skCube, Slovakia's first satellite, contributing the onboard transceiver (the satellite's communication core), the onboard camera, and a VLF (Very Low Frequency) experiment for measuring ionospheric plasma density. skCube deorbited in late 2023 after several years in low Earth orbit.
Building on that space heritage in miniaturization, long-distance communication, and space-qualified electronics, GOSPACE LABS pivoted to terrestrial IoT and telecommunications, developing hardware and software end-to-end: from 3D-printed prototypes and embedded hardware/software design through testing, manufacturing oversight, and post-launch support. The company runs its own cloud infrastructure and builds in-house software applications to deliver complete IoT solutions.
GOSPACE LABS' flagship products include Meratch, an Internet-of-Water platform that digitizes freshwater quality and quantity monitoring with distributed sensors, delivering early-warning systems for flash floods and AI-powered water management predictions (deployed with clients including the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute and Bratislava Water Company), and Fleximodo, a digital/smart parking sensor and management solution recognized internationally. The company has received the European Commission's Seal of Excellence and works with ESA, EU Galileo, and other research programs, and provides contract IoT hardware/software R&D services for telecom and industrial clients.
