Harbin Institute of Technology

Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is one of China's premier research universities, founded in 1920 and consistently ranked among China's top technical institutions. HIT has one of the most active university space programs in China, developing and launching several small satellites and CubeSats.

HIT's space program has produced notable satellites including the KX-1 CubeSat series, the MF-1 satellite for space environment monitoring, and the MASTA technology demonstration satellite. The university's School of Astronautics and associated research centers focus on satellite design, spacecraft dynamics, attitude control, and space propulsion.
