Hellenic Space Centre (HSC)

The Hellenic Space Centre (HSC; Greek: Ελληνικό Διαστημικό Κέντρο) is Greece's national space authority, established in 2019 and headquartered in Athens, coordinating Greece's participation in ESA programs, promoting space industry development, and managing national space research funding. Greece became an ESA member state in 2005, and HSC oversees Greece's contributions to ESA Earth observation, navigation, and telecommunications programs. The Centre promotes Greek companies and universities developing space technology and applications, supports participation in Copernicus Earth observation data services, and contributes to the growing Greek commercial space sector, which includes satellite ground station technology, remote sensing applications, and space system components.
