Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST)

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is the world's first dedicated space university and India's premier institution for space education. Established in 2007 under the Department of Space, Government of India, IIST operates under the aegis of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

IIST offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, and Physical Sciences. Students have unparalleled access to ISRO facilities and work on real satellite missions, sounding rocket experiments, and cutting-edge space research.
