ISA (Israel Space Agency)

The Israel Space Agency (ISA; Hebrew: סוכנות החלל הישראלית) is Israel's national space authority, operating as a government body under the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology. The ISA initiates, leads, and coordinates civil space activities in Israel, investing in R&D with economic potential, expanding business and scientific cooperation with other countries, supporting academic research, and initiating education programs to cultivate the scientists of the future.

Israel is a globally recognized space nation with a mature and vertically integrated space industrial base. The ISA coordinates Israeli participation in international space programs and bilateral space cooperation agreements, and supports the Israeli space industry's export activities. Key Israeli space achievements include the EROS commercial Earth observation satellites, the Ofek reconnaissance satellite series, and numerous scientific payloads on international missions.
