Description
The Hydra 2 is All.Space's dual-link Ka-band communications-on-the-move (COTM) terminal, capable of connecting simultaneously to two satellites across Military Ka-band and Commercial Ka-band networks in GEO and MEO orbits, with future-proof compatibility for LEO Ka-band constellations including Amazon Kuiper, Viasat 3/GX, WGS, and Telesat Lightspeed. Unlike traditional mechanically steered antennas, the Hydra 2 uses solid-state electronic beam steering with no moving parts, achieving sub-0.1° pointing accuracy even while the platform is in motion at sea or on land. Each of the two simultaneous links operates at full performance — neither is degraded by the presence of the other — enabled by proprietary RF optics and lens-array beamforming technology that also provides integrated anti-jamming resistance. The terminal features a modular swappable bay architecture supporting a customizable transmit/receive ratio and link throughput per mission requirement, a web-based management GUI, and full MIL-STD compliance for the most demanding military environmental conditions. It is deployed with the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy as a ruggedized, plug-and-play satcom solution for land vehicles and naval vessels.
