CBAT (Capacitive-Based Aerial Transmission)
Wireless power transfer technology that transmits electrical power through air, walls, and water without ports or alignment.
Description
CBAT (Capacitive-Based Aerial Transmission) is IVO's wireless power transfer technology, designed to transmit meaningful electrical power through air, walls, water, and other non-conductive materials without physical ports, charging pads, or precise alignment requirements between transmitter and receiver. A single transmitter is designed to support multiple receiving devices simultaneously. While primarily marketed for terrestrial and consumer applications, the underlying capacitive power transfer approach is also relevant to spacecraft and in-space power distribution use cases where contactless power transfer is advantageous.
