About Kepler Communications

Kepler Communications is a satellite telecommunications company headquartered in downtown Toronto, Canada, with additional presence in the United States and United Kingdom. The company's mission is to build the internet for space, enabling space-to-space and space-to-ground data relay for missions in low Earth orbit and beyond.

Kepler is vertically integrated, operating an in-house production facility to design and deploy a hybrid optical constellation that acts as an on-orbit internet exchange point. The Kepler Network delivers always-available, on-demand connectivity, letting satellite operators move mission data at lightspeed rather than waiting for ground station passes.

Beyond connectivity, Kepler offers Kepler Compute, on-orbit edge processing that brings advanced data processing closer to the source for faster decision-making, and Kepler Hosted, hosted payload services that use Kepler's active satellite network to get missions into orbit faster and reduce cost, schedule risk, and technical complexity. Kepler has launched multiple tranches of optical relay satellites and was selected as prime contractor for ESA's HydRON program element.

Milestones

  • 2015 Kepler Communications founded in Toronto
  • 2026 Selected as prime for ESA's HydRON Element 3 program
