Khalifa University

Khalifa University of Science and Technology is Abu Dhabi's flagship research university, established in 2017 through the merger of Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR), Masdar Institute, and the Petroleum Institute. The university has a strong space engineering program and contributed to the UAE's Hope Mars Mission. Its Space Systems Lab develops CubeSats and space technologies, including the MYSat-1 CubeSat educational mission, fostering the next generation of Emirati space engineers.
