PEEK CubeSat Structures
Injection-molded CubeSat structures made from the high-performance polymer PEEK, offered as a lighter, more cost-effective and more sustainable alternative to conventional aluminum structures.
Description
Lamb Space Tec's CubeSat structures are manufactured on modern injection molding equipment according to industrial quality standards, using the high-performance polymer PEEK instead of conventional aluminum. The PEEK-based structures are described as lighter, more cost-effective and more sustainable than aluminum equivalents. They are part of a broader line of injection-molded components for CubeSats made from space-qualified high-performance polymer materials. Lamb Space also offers customized development of satellite components and corresponding manufacturing strategies, customized production of satellite components using plastic injection molding and 3D printing, and production of samples, prototypes and customized small series using various manufacturing processes.
