LE016-R5 QO-100 Full-Duplex Transverter System
Compact full-duplex transverter system enabling communication via the QO-100 geostationary amateur satellite using a standard VHF/UHF transceiver — 650g, aluminum enclosure.
Description
The LE016-R5 is a small-form-factor transverter that lets a standard VHF/UHF transceiver radio communicate through the QO-100 geostationary amateur satellite. It uses compact electronics for a small footprint and can be set up in minutes, making it useful as an emergency communication device, backup radio system in remote areas, or an educational tool for junior satellite/microwave operators. It pairs with a modified external LNB for the first downconversion of the 10 GHz downlink and is sold only as a complete system — transverter, modified LNB, Ice-Cone feed antenna, interconnect cables, and aluminum mounting plate — since total system performance depends on matched components.
