Lumir

Lumir is a leading South Korean space technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of small SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellites and aerospace components. The company develops high-performance satellite subsystems and has been a key supplier to South Korea's national space programs.

Lumir's flagship product is LumirX, an ultra-compact 150 kg SAR satellite capable of 0.3 m resolution all-weather, day-and-night Earth observation imagery. The company is building an 18-satellite constellation to be deployed between 2026 and 2030, providing near-real-time global coverage for defense, disaster response, agriculture, and environmental monitoring.
