Description
The 920 MHz Fixed LoRa Ground Sensor Terminal (GST) is designed for deployment alongside environmental sensors, GPS trackers, or other IoT instruments in remote locations, transmitting data to the MicroOrbiter-1 nanosatellite as it passes overhead. The terminal uses a patch antenna for uplink and is powered by an integrated solar panel for fully standalone operation without external power infrastructure. Data is burst-transmitted during satellite passes and stored on-board the satellite until a downlink ground station comes into view.
