Nautilus Navigation in Space SRL designs and develops autonomous Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) sub-systems and provides Flight Dynamics as a Service (FDaaS). Their product lines include autonomous GNC solutions for collision avoidance and planetary landing, and the NEMO software suite for mission design and navigation, with specific modules for Earth orbits (Home), lunar missions (Nexus), and deep space missions (Journey). They also develop Ground Testing Equipment, such as CubeDynA, which supports closed-loop testing of CubeSat Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS) for platforms from 1U to 12U. Nautilus serves as a prime contractor and contributor to various space programs, including the ESA CubeSat mission LUMIO (Lunar Meteoroid Impact Observer) for which they are responsible for ground segment design and flight dynamics operations, and the ASI-funded AEGIS (Asteroid Exploration mission for Geophysical Investigation and In-Situ analysis) where they lead mission analysis, satellite GNC systems, and ground operations. They are also involved in the ARES project for high-accuracy autonomous landing on Enceladus and Mars, the OB-ASTRA project for autonomous collision avoidance systems, and the enhancement of the Sardinia Deep Space Antenna (SDSA) capabilities through advanced Flight Dynamics software. Additionally, Nautilus supports the ASI-funded HERMES mission by developing Flight Dynamics software for the Mission Operations Center and is the prime contractor for an ESA-funded 3DOF Attitude Control Air Bearing Facility for ground testing of CubeSat ADCS.
