Neuraspace

Neuraspace is a Coimbra, Portugal-based space traffic management (STM) company that applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to the problem of orbital conjunction assessment and collision avoidance. As the number of satellites in orbit grows rapidly, operators face an ever-increasing volume of conjunction alerts — the vast majority of which are false alarms that nonetheless require costly operator attention and fuel-consuming avoidance maneuvers.

Neuraspace's platform analyzes orbital data from multiple sources, applies AI-driven probability modeling, and provides satellite operators with actionable risk assessments that significantly reduce unnecessary maneuvers while maintaining safety margins. The system learns from historical conjunction data, improves its predictions over time, and can automate maneuver recommendations for routine conjunction events.

Founded with backing from ESA's BIC Portugal incubator and European space agencies, Neuraspace addresses one of the fastest-growing operational challenges in the space industry. The company targets satellite operators, constellation managers, and space agencies that need scalable, intelligent solutions to manage growing orbital congestion without a proportional increase in ground team workload.
