CubeSat Deployers with stacking interface
OHB Cosmos International offers CubeSat deployers with standardized mechanical interfaces for easy stacking and flexible combinations of 1U, 3U, 6U, 12U, and 27U satellite launches in one package.
Description
The CubeSat standardization allows easy deployer selection and procurement from different manufacturers. OHB Cosmos International takes the next logical step by standardizing the mechanical interfaces of their CUBESAT-STACK deployers within this product line. This standardization enables easy CubeSat deployer stacking and any combination of 1U, 3U, 6U, 12U, and 27U satellite launches in a single package. The deployers will offer rail, tab, and four-point holding and separation systems for the encapsulated spacecrafts. The page also mentions the launch of the small satellite Max Valier Sat on the PSLV C-38 in June 2017, which carried the tiny 3g CHIPSAT as a secondary payload, built by Zachary Manchester of Stanford University.
