OHB Sweden (formerly SSC Satellite Division)

OHB Sweden AB is a Swedish satellite manufacturer based in Gothenburg, operating as a subsidiary of OHB SE, the German space technology group. The company originated as the satellite division of the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) and was acquired by OHB to become part of Europe's largest independent space technology group.

OHB Sweden specializes in the design and manufacture of small to medium satellite platforms and spacecraft subsystems, with expertise in attitude and orbit control systems, on-board computers, and complete satellite bus solutions. The Gothenburg facility brings decades of experience in Swedish satellite engineering, including work on scientific, Earth observation, and technology demonstration missions.

As part of OHB SE, the Swedish operations benefit from integrated European supply chains and access to programs across OHB's subsidiaries in Germany, Luxembourg, and Italy.
