Picocom

Picocom is a semiconductor company that designs and markets open RAN standard-compliant baseband SoCs and carrier-grade software products. These products are developed for 4G and 5G small cell infrastructure and non-terrestrial networks (NTN) via satellite. Their chip products are designed with a "Programmable Processor and Dedicated Processor" SoC philosophy, aiming for high performance, low power consumption, and programmability, allowing a single chip to support multiple use cases. These use cases include low-altitude communication, high-altitude platform stations (air), satellite internet/NTN communication (space), and terrestrial 4G/5G mobile communication, IoT, and V2X (ground).
