About Prisma Electronics

Prisma Electronics S.A. is a Greek technology company founded in 1991 and headquartered in Alexandroupolis (87 Democratias Avenue), with additional offices in Athens, London and San Francisco. The company invests over 25% of revenues in R&D and operates ISO 9001-certified electronics assembly and PCB manufacturing facilities, serving as a supply-chain partner to ESA-affiliated prime contractors and satellite manufacturers for space-grade electronics production and R&D under ECSS quality standards.

In the space domain, Prisma designed, built and operates MICE-1, the first Greek nanosatellite dedicated to maritime IoT and communications, developed with the Democritus University of Thrace, the European Space Agency and the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility under Greece's National Microsatellite Program. Prisma has also participated in ESA's MICE-1 project and related in-orbit demonstration initiatives, contributing space-grade hardware manufacturing and R&D expertise to the Greek and European space supply chain.

On the ground, Prisma develops LAROS, a wireless remote-monitoring and performance-analysis platform used across the maritime shipping industry for fuel, emissions and KPI tracking, and PrismaSense, a wireless smart-sensor IoT platform for industrial, agricultural and infrastructure condition monitoring. The company has been recognized with a CERN Gold Award for PCB manufacturing excellence and collaborates with more than 100 research partners across European universities.
