MULTI-LAYER BELLOWS
Multi-layer bellows designed for use as sensing elements, phase separators, sealing devices, and power unit components in various atmospheres, particularly suitable for liquid rocket engine combustion systems.
Description
These multi-layer bellows are engineered for operation as sensing elements, phase separators, sealing devices, and components within power units. They are designed to function effectively in atmospheres that do not cause material corrosion, across a wide temperature range from minus 260 to plus 550 °С. A key application is to compensate for axial, angular, and transverse movements within the branches of power plant circuits, specifically those occurring in the combustion system of a liquid rocket engine. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant and fire-resistant steel grades such as 08Х18Н10Т or 12Х18Н10Т, these bellows ensure complete leak-tightness even at high pressures and temperatures. This is combined with excellent flexibility, a critical feature for hazardous industries. The product was first released in 2007 and comes with a guaranteed service life of 6 years. The estimated production and delivery time is 2 months. While there is no flight qualification stated, the product can be adapted to meet specific customer requirements.
