About Skynopy

Founded in 2023 in Paris, Skynopy set out to bring the simplicity of mobile connectivity to satellite operations. The company builds a hybrid ground station network that combines a timeshared antenna system with its own proprietary ground stations, all orchestrated through a single software platform using virtualized modem technology to give satellite operators seamless access to their spacecraft.

Skynopy's technology spans S-, X- and Ka-band transmission and is designed to double the usable data volume or halve the cost per downlinked gigabyte compared to conventional ground segment services, while also reducing data latency and revisit time. The company supports operators both before launch, through radio and antenna selection, ground network optimization, modulation and coding optimization, and satellite-to-ground integration and testing, and after launch, through single-API access to its global ground network and an end-to-end sovereign data pipeline from satellite to cloud.

Backed by CNES since inception through the SpaceFounders accelerator program and technology development contracts focused on Ka-band ground-station-as-a-service, Skynopy has scaled quickly by combining its own antennas with partnerships such as AWS Ground Station. As of mid-2026 the company operates 18 ground sites, has supported 10+ satellites, and raised roughly €18M in total funding, including a €15M seed round led by Alven, Expansion Venture Capital, Omnes Capital, Heartcore Capital and CNES. Skynopy has announced partnerships and collaborations with Airbus, Eutelsat/OneWeb, ESA, CNES, U-Space and Look Up, and is expanding its global footprint, including new sites in French overseas territories and Kenya.
