Skynopy offers an end-to-end ground station service bringing the simplicity of mobile connectivity to satellite operations. The service is built on a hybrid ground station network combining a timeshared antenna system with Skynopy's proprietary ground stations, orchestrated through a software platform using virtualized modem technology. Before launch, Skynopy supports customers with choice of onboard radio & antennas, optimization of the ground station network, optimization of modulation & coding, pre-integrated advanced modulations, and support for satellite-to-ground test & integration. After launch, customers get access to the ground network via a single API and end-to-end sovereignty of data from satellite to cloud. The Skynopy Global Network provides access to a global network of strategically located ground stations, enabling reliable connectivity with multiple contacts per orbit. Key features include doubling data volume (2x) for the same price or halving the price per data unit, near real-time latency, saving approximately 10 months of RF testing and integration time, and a secured data pipeline that maximizes data sovereignty. The company has raised 15M€ in funding, operates 18 ground sites, and has supported 10+ satellites, achieving up to 2x data rate improvement for customer missions. Airbus has used Skynopy's ground station services to enhance Pleiades Neo ground segment performance, as documented in a published case study.
