NeuSAR SAR Microsatellite
Singapore first locally developed fully polarimetric SAR microsatellite, providing all-weather day/night Earth observation, led by DSO National Laboratories.
Description
NeuSAR is Singapore first locally developed Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) microsatellite and the world first fully polarimetric small satellite SAR, launched June 30, 2022. Led by DSO National Laboratories with partners STAR Centre (NUS), CRISP, Satrec Initiative (South Korea), and MMA Design (USA), NeuSAR provides all-weather, day-and-night imaging in strip and spot modes. The 160 kg satellite demonstrates Singapore growing capability in space systems engineering and SAR technology.
