AggieSat Laboratory is a student-run space program at Texas A&M University that trains students in systems engineering. The program provides hands-on experience in the design, assembly, testing, and operation of space and space-related systems. It has successfully launched two satellites to orbit: AggieSat2, deployed from the Space Shuttle Endeavour in July 2009, and AggieSat4, deployed from the International Space Station in January 2016. The program's alumni contribute to America’s space, defense, and intelligence communities. It is headquartered at Texas A&M University. The program was brought to Texas A&M University in 2005.
