The Husky Satellite Lab (HSL) is a Research and Development laboratory located within the University of Washington. Founded in 2015, HSL focuses on advancing Cube-Satellite (CubeSat) technologies for scientific research and exploration, particularly for interplanetary exploration. The lab designs and develops CubeSat missions, with a current focus on a three-mission journey to the Moon, named HuskySat-1, HuskySat-2, and HuskySat-3. These missions aim to establish a foundation for future CubeSat development and promote CubeSat-scale interplanetary exploration. HSL collaborates with various sponsors including NASA, Washington Space Grant, and several engineering and technology companies.
