WISeSat End-to-End Security Architecture
Cryptographic security framework for satellite IoT networks, embedding WISeKey root-of-trust directly into nanosatellites and ground infrastructure.
Description
WISeSat's End-to-End Security Architecture delivers comprehensive cryptographic protection across the entire satellite IoT data path — from edge device to orbit and back to Earth. Built on decades of WISeKey PKI expertise, the system integrates Secure Elements and crypto anchors into nanosatellites, ensuring every satellite command and data uplink is authenticated and authorized. The four security pillars cover Device Authentication (digital passport per IoT sensor), Secure Communication Channels (end-to-end encryption across device, satellite, ground station and cloud), Data Integrity & Trust Anchors (verified message integrity via secure elements and trusted root certificates), and Lifecycle Management (provisioning, updates, decommissioning). Nanosatellites carry WISeKey crypto anchors linked to a hardware root-of-trust, making the constellation inherently quantum-ready. The platform is standards-compliant with internationally recognized cryptographic frameworks, targeting critical sectors including defense, logistics, energy, and infrastructure where data authenticity and tamper-proofing are non-negotiable.
