About
Apolink provides satellite communication link monitoring software and spectrum management tools for satellite operators, teleport managers, and ground station network operators. The company’s platform monitors the health and performance of active satellite communication links — carrier-to-noise ratio (C/N), bit error rate (BER), received signal level — across Ku, Ka, and C-band satellite transponders.
A satellite communication link is only as good as its current atmospheric and technical conditions — rain fading (especially in Ka-band), solar conjunction interference, transponder saturation, and terminal mispointing can all degrade link quality from design-time predictions. Apolink’s real-time monitoring system detects link degradation events, diagnoses their cause, and alerts operators before customer-impacting service disruptions occur.
For spectrum management, Apolink provides tools to manage uplink and downlink frequency allocations, identify interference sources (unintentional uplink from mis-pointed terminals is a common problem), and generate the satellite coordination filing documentation required by ITU regulations. The platform targets teleport operators managing multiple customer satellite services and satellite operators responsible for transponder lease performance guarantees.
