About

Copia uses inflatable tubes that rigidize after deployment, replacing complex hinge mechanisms with a lightweight and affordable system. It achieves 20× more power per stowed volume and 4× more power per mass than traditional deployable solar arrays. Compatible with both triple-junction (up to 300 W/kg) and silicon solar cells. A single-axis variant (Copia-S) is also available. Designed for microsatellites and CubeSats of 6U and larger, Copia provides ultra-high structural rigidity after rigidization with high-volume manufacturing capability and low lead times.
