About

AxelGlobe is Axelspace’s commercial Earth observation platform, built on a growing constellation of GRUS optical imaging microsatellites. The platform provides customers in agriculture, environmental monitoring, infrastructure inspection, disaster response, maritime surveillance, and financial intelligence with regular satellite imagery with high revisit frequency.

GRUS satellites are compact optical imaging microsatellites designed and built in-house by Axelspace at its Nihonbashi Tokyo facility. The constellation delivers 2.5 m resolution multispectral imagery (with newer variants achieving higher resolution), aiming for daily global revisit. As of July 2026, Axelspace operates the GRUS-1 and GRUS-2 satellite batches and has launched a new batch of seven GRUS-3 microsatellites, which acquired first signals in July 2026 following launch.

Customers access AxelGlobe imagery and analytics through an API and web platform, enabling tasking, archival image access, and integration with downstream analytics pipelines.
