About
The K53-1А is a tantalum solid-electrolyte capacitor developed for power supply modules in airborne electronics, aviation, rocket and space equipment, chain radar systems, communications satellites and ground engineering. First released in 1989, the component features a leakproof case construction with stable storage and operating characteristics across a wide temperature range. It is rated for 6.3 to 40 V with a capacitance range of 0.033 to 100 µF, and is offered with capacitance tolerances of ±10%, ±20% or ±30% to suit different circuit requirements. The capacitor is qualified for operation from -60°C to +125°C, making it suitable for the thermal extremes encountered in orbital and launch environments. Glavkosmos guarantees a service life of 25 years, with a typical production and delivery lead time of 3 months. The design is not customer-adaptable, reflecting its status as a standardized, flight-proven electronic component ready for direct integration into spacecraft power systems.
