About
Capsule Corporation is a CubeSat mission services company offering end-to-end support from initial mission concept through satellite design, manufacturing, integration and testing (AIT), and launch campaign management. The company targets university programs, research institutions, and startups that want to fly a CubeSat mission but lack the internal engineering team to manage the full satellite development lifecycle.
Capsule Corporation’s service model covers mission requirements definition, satellite bus selection and procurement (in-house designs or third-party buses), payload integration, environmental testing (vibration, thermal-vacuum, EMC), launch manifest coordination (rideshare booking on SpaceX Transporter, ISRO PSLV, Rocket Lab Rideshare), ground station TT&C setup, and initial on-orbit commissioning. This ‘full stack’ approach allows customers to focus on their payload and science while Capsule manages the satellite engineering complexity.
The CubeSat-as-a-service model is increasingly attractive as CubeSat component costs have dropped and launch rideshare prices have fallen, but the engineering effort to fly a nanosatellite mission remains significant for non-specialist organizations. Companies like Capsule Corporation lower the floor for participating in space by absorbing this expertise overhead.
