About
CRON Sistemas e Tecnologias is a Brazilian engineering company providing satellite subsystem integration, ground support equipment (GSE), and technical services for space programs. Based in Brazil, CRON supports the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE — Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais) and the growing Brazilian commercial space ecosystem.
CRON’s services span satellite assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) support — providing the specialized equipment and expertise to assemble satellite subsystems, conduct pre-launch testing, and support launch campaign operations. This includes electrical ground support equipment (EGSE), mechanical handling fixtures, thermal vacuum chamber operations, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing.
Brazil has a significant space program through INPE (which operates the CBERS satellite series in partnership with China) and the Alcântara launch site, which is being modernized for commercial launches. CRON represents the industrial base companies supporting Brazil’s space program through specialized systems integration and technical services for satellite and launch vehicle programs.
