About

P.R.O.B.E. 1 (Pravaha Radio-module Operations Balloon Experiment) was Delta Space’s first joint mission with Indian startup ToSpace, recreating LEO conditions in terms of satellite-to-ground-station distance using a high-altitude balloon flown over the Po Valley, northern Italy. The mission validated satellite subsystems intended for future orbital deployment, and is offered as a reference for the company’s In-Orbit-Demonstration (IOD) validation service for other companies’ hardware components.
