About
EIRSAT-1 (Educational Irish Research Satellite-1) is Ireland first satellite, a 2U CubeSat developed by students and researchers at University College Dublin under ESA Fly Your Satellite programme. Launched on December 1, 2023 aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 transporter mission, EIRSAT-1 carries three experiments: GMOD (Gamma-ray Module), EMOD (Energetic Particle and Wave Module), and ENBIO TRIPP (thermal coating demonstration).
