About
Electronic filters from FAULHABER are essential components for optimizing the performance and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of drive systems. These filters are available in two main types: motor-side filters and input-side filters. Motor-side filters are specifically designed to reduce electromagnetic interference generated by the motor itself, preventing it from affecting other sensitive electronics within the system. Input-side filters, on the other hand, are used to suppress interference coming from the power supply or other external sources, protecting the drive system from external noise. Both types of filters contribute to a cleaner electrical environment, which is crucial for applications requiring high precision and reliability, such as those found in aerospace and aviation. By effectively mitigating EMI, FAULHABER’s electronic filters help ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of motors and associated control electronics.
