About
This equipment is designed for the determination of the center-of-mass position and inertia characteristics of nanosatellites during assembly, integration and testing. It measures test objects with a maximum size of 350 x 150 x 150 mm and mass in the range of 1 to 10 kg, providing center-of-mass position determination with an inaccuracy of not more than 1 mm and axial moments of inertia determination accuracy of not less than 1.5%. The equipment itself measures 500 x 450 x 1300 mm and operates on a 220 V supply, with 5 V used at the equipment. Measurement results are recorded electronically via a display and memory card. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 35°C. A set of fixing devices for mounting the nanosatellite to the equipment is not included and must be provided separately. The product can be adapted to customer requirements. It was released in 2017, has a guaranteed service life of 3 years, and an estimated production/delivery time of 12 months. The product is not flight-qualified, as it is ground support equipment rather than a flight article.
