Razor Crest Mk 1 (RCM1) is EtherealX’s (Ethereal Exploration Guild) flagship reusable medium-lift launch vehicle, engineered for high cadence, precise multi-orbit insertion, and economically stable launch services. The vehicle is designed to be profitable even when not fully loaded — a fundamental departure from traditional rocket economics that typically require near-full manifests for profitability.

RCM1 offers three mission configurations: expendable, partially reusable, and fully reusable. A single flight can perform up to 16 distinct orbital insertions, enabling multi-customer rideshare missions to different orbits without the need for third-party last-mile delivery vehicles. Turn-around time targets 72–96 hours, enabling high-cadence launch schedules for constellation operators requiring frequent replenishment.

EtherealX operates India’s largest privately-owned rocket testing facility — a 700,000 sq ft complex in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu — to support engine development, propulsion qualification, and structural testing. The company is headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and positions RCM1 as a transformative capability for commercial constellation operators, institutional customers, and scientific missions seeking affordable, frequent orbital access from India.
