About
Experior Laboratories performs classical shock tests (half-sine, sawtooth, trapezoidal pulses) using an AVCO pneumatic shock table and Unholtz-Dickie electrodynamic vibration systems, accommodating classical shock pulses up to 1,500 G. For pyrotechnic-event simulation, the proprietary Kinetic Impact Pyroshock Simulation (KIPS) system uses a high-speed impact to excite a tunable resonant beam, simulating near- and mid-field pyroshock with adjustable impact force, location, and damping. Experior also operates a custom horizontal shock system reaching up to 5,000 G on parts over 500 lb, and the Lansmont P30 shock system, producing half-sine or haversine shocks exceeding 10,000 G.
