FORUM Thermal EGSE
The FORUM Thermal EGSE supports ground testing by simulating the spacecraft’s thermal environment, ensuring reliable performance once in orbit for the ESA FORUM mission.
About
Rovsing’s FORUM Thermal EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) is designed to support the ground testing phase of the FORUM mission, a project led by ESA. This system plays a crucial role in simulating the thermal environment that the spacecraft will experience in orbit. By accurately replicating these conditions, the Thermal EGSE helps to ensure the reliable performance of the spacecraft once it is deployed. The FORUM mission itself is dedicated to studying Earth’s far-infrared radiation, with the objective of improving climate models and enhancing the understanding of global heat balance. Rovsing recently shipped a Thermal EGSE rack to their client OHB for this mission, highlighting their collaboration in delivering critical ground support solutions for space projects.
