About

The GEN-1P Reentry Capsule is a pico space capsule specifically designed for microgravity research and payload recovery. It successfully completed its demo mission on May 31, 2026, returning biological samples, flight data, and onboard footage for post-flight analysis. The capsule is part of a Rideshare Program offering access to space for microgravity research, with options for passive (€6K/sample) or active (€12K/sample) infrared sensor missions, lasting up to 9 months. This program includes 2026–2027 test flights and reflight insurance. The GEN-1 reentry capsules are compatible with PocketQube satellite buses and include a selected separation mechanism and interfaces for both PQ60 and PC/104 boards. The GEN-1p is a PocketQube-class host satellite for these capsules. Another related product, MAYASAT-1, is a biological incubator that reached SSO with biological payloads, carrying hundreds of samples aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-14 mission. The company is also expanding its ground segment capacity for 2026 GEN Space Capsule Missions.
