About
The TR600 is an RF module that can be integrated into the NanoCom SDR MK3. These modules are identical in terms of RF performance and can be configured to an extensive range of settings. Each TR600 module incorporates two identical and independently controlled TX channels for direct conversion, which share a common frequency synthesizer. Similarly, the RF receivers contain two independent RX channels for direct down conversion, also sharing a common frequency synthesizer. The output power is controlled by a hardware gain setting, exhibiting linear control from -55 to -20 dB, with some compression at higher power settings. The TX power maintains accuracy within +/- 3 dB up to 5500 MHz, and its variation with temperature is typically -1 dB/100°C. The RX input offers various gain settings dependent on the LO frequency, providing a linear gain range in 1 dB steps. The receiver also includes a built-in RSSI indicator and an Automatic Gain Control (AGC) system to maintain stable I/Q levels. An internal programmable analog filter is present for pre-filtering received signals before ADC conversion. The Error Vector Magnitude (EVM) is generally below -30 dB.
